Glow in the dark.

I drove to Michael's yesterday to buy some materials for etsy, and my husband looks at me, raises his eyebrow and says, "I'm going to the store next door." After a long pause, I grab his arm and half force him into the store. He grabs a cart for me and pushes it to the aisle he knows I'm heading to, and right in front of him, a sale on glow in the dark polymer clay. All of the sudden our visit to Michael's doesn't seem so bad after all! Now I'm stuck with glow in the dark polymer clay, a brain that doesn't want to function creatively, and a husband who is completely excited about what I'm going to do with it. I have no idea what to do with it! Men and their shinny, glow in the dark things. *mumbles*

So here I am staring at this 2oz block of glow in the dark polymer clay. I mean, I don't exactly have any charms that would look good when the lights go out.

*5 hours later*

2.5" Glow in the Dark Spock is born with green blush as it should be. Go figure... Now that my husband has his Spock figure that has green blood flowing through him, I don't think he'll give me the brow on our next Michael's trip. It's a win/win, and hey... if it makes him happy, I'm happy.

I love Star Trek just as much as the next person, but I seriously need to think me up some new characters.
